Jenny Shumaker is a Master’s level Clinical Social Worker and has been fully licensed with the state of Michigan (LMSW) since 2013. She received her undergraduate degree from Eastern Michigan University and received her graduate degree from Wayne State University. She has over a decade of experience working with vulnerable and underserved children, adults and families in Community Mental Health and non-profit settings, including 8 years in leadership/administration, program development and implementation, clinical supervision and grant management including four federal grants. Jenny is certified through the University of Michigan in Primary and Behavioral Health Integration, and is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Trauma-informed treatments. Jenny is currently the Senior Director of Program Operations at CNS Healthcare. Jenny is committed to working towards reducing the impact of childhood trauma through community partnerships, education, and spreading awareness.
