Kim Stephens, SALTA’s Director of Strategy & Growth joined our leadership team in 2018. Kim started her RN career in 1995 as a bedside nurse. Kim’s disposition enabled her to be a master connector where she won sales awards in the pharmaceutical industry as a sales representative and educator in medical affairs. Her keen sense for business enabled her to help develop programs within the hospital setting to increase patient engagement, safety, donation services, and patient throughput. In 2010, Kim earned her master’s in nursing (MSN) to build upon her leadership and educator abilities. She became President of the American periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN), Chapter 1401 to lead the association with ongoing quality education and connections. From there, she continued to excel in her career becoming director of surgical services for one of the largest hospital systems in Michigan. Kim’s deep knowledge of the healthcare business and strong desire to change how healthcare is delivered led her to join SALTA Direct Primary Care. Today, Kim enjoys connecting with chamber of commerce, professional organizations, businesses, municipalities, unions, business owners, and individuals to educate on how quality, cost-effective healthcare can be achieved with no barriers to patient access.  As Director of Strategy & Growth, Kim manages high-complexity, multi-workstream engagements and oversees managers of individual workstreams. She develops plans that are intended to help propel the company to achieve specific goals intended for growth—physical and fiscal.
