Corey Baird is a senior turnaround, restructuring, and strategic advisory professional with extensive experience across the automotive, manufacturing, cannabis, and real estate sectors. He advises companies, lenders, investors, boards, and stakeholders on operational improvement, business transformation, growth initiatives, restructuring, and complex operational challenges.


His specialized skills allow him to lead day-to-day operations for distressed and underperforming businesses, execute turnaround strategies, improve profitability and cash flow, optimize manufacturing and supply chain operations, lead organizational transformation initiatives, and drive enterprise value creation.


Mr. Baird has significant experience leading operational turnarounds, performance improvement initiatives, and strategic transformations for automotive and manufacturing companies. He has also provided operational, financial, and industry expertise in complex civil, criminal, restructuring, and bankruptcy matters, including some of the largest and most high-profile cases in the automotive sector. 


Prior to joining Province, Corey was a Director at O'Keefe, a strategic advisory firm. Previously, he served as Chief Executive Officer of a 10-facility Tier 1 and Tier 2 automotive manufacturing supplier, where he led operational transformation initiatives, commercial growth strategies, manufacturing optimization efforts, and process improvement programs. He also served as President of a vertically integrated Michigan cannabis organization responsible for strategic growth, operational execution, regulatory compliance, and brand development.


Earlier in his career, Corey spent 12 years with Lear Corporation, a Fortune 200 global automotive technology company, where he was responsible for Global Finance and Purchasing, Corporate FP&A, Information Technology, Insurance, and Shared Services, including Distressed Suppliers. He has also advised numerous Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers on operational performance, diversification strategies, cost optimization, sales growth, and OEM contract negotiations.


Corey is also a member of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA).
